Jr. Accelerator Scientist/Engineer

Qualifications: M.S. Physics/Engineering or Equivalent Experience
We are looking for a bright, hardworking Scientist or Engineer to contribute to our ongoing work as well as initiate and lead new projects. Specific tasks will include:
- Beam dynamics simulations and magnetic lattice design
- 3D Modeling of electromagnetic fields using FEA programs
- Thermal analysis and engineering
- Mechanical design
- Proposal and report writing
We are especially interested in applicants with experience in any of the following:
- Circular accelerators, especially FFAGs, betatrons, or cyclotrons
- RF Engineering
- Pulsed Power electronics
- Beam dynamics simulations
- Optics and Lasers
