RadiaBeam offers the most comprehensive selection of beam imaging materials. The most popular scintillating medium, a cerium doped single crystal yttrium aluminum garnet (YAG:Ce), is often the first choice for beamline applications due to its excellent photon yield (over 30% efficiency), non-granular structure, transparency, mechanical durability and vacuum friendliness. Either 1" diameter YAG:Ce crystals or fiducialized aluminum foils for OTR production are part of the TPM diagnostic system, but are also available as stand-alone items. In addition, for customers with special needs we offer custom scintillating screens of different geometric shapes which are composed of alternative matrix materials and have a customer-specified density of either cerium or terbium dopant. Fiducial masks and conductive screens are also available separately or permanently imprinted onto the imaging surface.
